The Achieva, otherwise known as the apex predator in GM's N-body ecosystem. They were all crappy, although the Achieva gets some appreciative nods (from me) for the squared-off wheel arch in back.

As I recall, a couple of these with the Quad-4 did pretty well in SCCA showroom stock and the first years of World Challenge Touring, against SCCA expectations & desires to get Honda kids interested.

Could be had with a 2.3 Quad4 making 190hp and a manual. Not bad for the early 90s.

Ah, the SCX. The only Achieva that actually achieved anything.

The best memories I have of the Achieva was that they were often used as the rental cars on the X-Files when Mulder and Scully were traveling. Added a nice touch of realism, since I don't think many of these were really sold outside rental fleets, though I doubt that's what GM's product placement people had in mind.
